Activist Greta Thunberg was invited to the expert meeting on the coronavirus on CNN

In the forthcoming meeting with CNN for pandemic coronavirus will engage 17-year-old activist Greta Thunberg , along with a group of medical experts.

In the «Facts and fears about coronavirus» will also participate broadcaster CNN’s Sanjay Gupta, former Secretary of health and human services Kathleen Sebelius and former Director of the Centers for control and disease prevention Richard Besser. To moderate the discussion will be the star of CNN’s Anderson Cooper.

Not all social networks normally accepted that an activist on climate issues was made a member of the group of experts in public health.

«What is Greta Thunberg in this meeting?» asks Twitter Yashar Ali from their 618 000 subscribers. His rhetorical question is liked by more than 12,000 users.

Her name is the most popular request on Twitter, and in just a few hours on the platform there were about 30 000 references.

Some come to the defense of Thunberg, including several public figures, claiming that the voice of young people who will inherit the Earth, doomed to future pandemics and climate catastrophe, can really add something to the conversation.

«She’s extremely intelligent, and she is the next generation is left to clean up this mess that we made. It wouldn’t have been there if she hadn’t had a strong voice,» wrote the laureate of the award «Oscar» actress Patricia Arquette.
