In addition, events will be held in various locations along the Chicago river. The most interesting of them can be found below.

Dance bridges and boats

The solemn parade of boats will sail along the Chicago river. Every bridge they see on the way, will be raised in a kind of celebratory salute. Swim in canoes on the waterfront

If you’ve never been on a kayak, you now have the chance to try to do it. Don’t worry if you can’t boast a great experience in rowing – at Urban Kayaks will be happy all. (Between Columbus and Lake Shore Drive Bridges; 10 am -3 PM. Free )

Symphony orchestra Chicago

Chamber ensemble consisting of members of the Chicago Symphony orchestra, will play timeless classics at a gala event on the waterfront. (Between Franklin and Wells Sts, 1 PM. Vietnam Veterans Memorial, 2 p.m.).

Exhibition and race in the dragon boats

Big Chicago club dragon boat and the Chicago chamber of Commerce Chinatown Chinese represent this tradition visitors to the waterfront Riverwalk. (Between Wells and Dearborn Sts, 5 PM).
