In Los Angeles opened a new Museum of modern art

All lovers of cultural and leisure activities await great news — may 25 in downtown Los Angeles has opened a new Museum, which will occupy a worthy place alongside with the leading institutions of the city. Collection Marciano Art Foundation contains about a thousand works of art created in the period from 90 years to the present day.

Paintings, sculptures and compositions from modern masters will appreciate those who love everything unusual and original.

The exhibits belong to the founders of the Guess brand Maurice and Paul Marciano. In their huge collection have works grotyana, Sterling ruby, Paul McCarthy, Takashi Murakami, Mike Kelley and young artists, whose names are not yet known.

Marciano Art Foundation is housed in a former Masonic temple, designed in 1961 by the famous architect Millard Sitcom.

The founders of the Museum becomes not only a demonstration of the existing exhibits, but also a platform to create new masterpieces.

The purpose of the Marciano brothers — to show guests the art of dynamics. Experiment and development are the two major values embedded in the concept of the new Museum.

In addition to the Marciano collection in the Museum holds documents, photographs and various Masonic attributes left in the temple.

Marciano Art Foundation is located at 4357 Wilshire Boulevard.

The Museum is open to visitors from Thursday to Saturday ( weekdays from 11:00 to 17:00 and weekends from 10:00 to 18:00). Wednesday — day school trips.

Entrance to the cultural institutions is free, but tickets need to book in advance on the website. Near Marciano Art Foundation has a free Parking.
