According to sources, the administration is considering various options for a more modern nuclear bomb for the further containment of Russia, North Korea and other potential nuclear adversaries.

The creation of such weapons (intended for delivery by missiles, aircraft or intelligence agencies) would mean a big change from the past course of the administration of President Barack Obama. Obama has banned the establishment of the United States of any new nuclear weapons. Critics of the idea of trump saying that the new weapon would only increase the likelihood of its use.
