President Donald trump will leave on time with my new friends Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi, to spend a week in new York. This time he will stop at Trump Tower for four nights, so it’s possible that the beginning of a new working week will mark a wave of protests.
Political POLITICO reports that trump will visit the Big Apple to take part in the meeting of the UN General Assembly, which will take place next week.
Unfortunately all of Midtown, traffic probably will be the most unpleasant part of the visit. Although trump will spend four nights in his penthouse, he would often travel between the New York Palace and Madison Avenue, meeting with staff and the State Department, so road closures may add headaches to the already non-ideal on urban roads.
This visit will be the third return of the tramp back to the city since his inauguration. In may, he attended a reception and dinner aboard the Intrepid, though not spent the night in the city. Last month he spent three nights at the Trump Tower, in the days following the riots in Charlottesville, Virginia. Both visits were met with protests.
