The mayor of the capital of Puerto Rico: «We’re dying here»

«People drink from the streams here in San Juan, – said the mayor of San Juan Carmen Cruz in an interview with CNN. – People are prisoners in cages of their own homes – elderly people, pensioners, who have no electricity.»

This statement followed after a week and a half ago on the island of Puerto Rico, which is dependent on the US territory, a direct attack the most powerful hurricane Maria.

Cruz emotionally vassals: «We die here, we do die, I repeat: SOS». She turned to Trump with this message: «Let’s just get this over with and move the business off the ground».

This morning trump said Cruz with a series of tweets. In the first, the President wrote: «the Mayor of San Juan, which was very welcoming just a few days ago, said demokryty that it must be unfriendly to Trump.»

The Mayor of San Juan, who was very complimentary only a few days ago, has now been told by the Democrats that you must be nasty to Trump.

Further, he stressed that the mayor wants everything to be done for Puerto Rico, although restoration work must be carried out by common efforts. In the second tweet he said: «it’s 10 000 Federal workers on the island do a fantastic job».

Recall that at least 16 people were killed as a result of hurricane Maria. In addition, 100% of the island remained without power. According to the estimates of the Governor Ricardo Rossello, for the restoration of the electrical infrastructure may require more than one month. And on September 20 the White house declared the island a disaster area.
