President Donald trump confirmed on Saturday that he made a new attempt to reach consensus with Democrats on the new health care system.
«I called Chuck Schumer yesterday to find out whether they want the Democrats to do a great bill about HealthCare,» wrote trump on Twitter at 8:17 am.
The call of the President says that he can’t wait to solve the issue alone, the Republicans, apparently, to solve not under force. However, the Democrats are in no hurry to make concessions.
«This shows that the President can move forward without hesitation or ideological obstacles to make a deal with the Democrats,» said one of the Republicans Axios.
It is not yet clear what exactly will be the deal, but Chuck Schumer in his Twitter wrote the following: «the President wanted to make another attempt to replace and cancel, but I told the President that this matter is removed from the agenda».
«If he wants to work together to improve the existing health care system, we, the Democrats, are open to his suggestions. A good start may be negotiation on the proposal of Alexander-Murray, which is aimed at stabilizing the system and reducing costs.»
Thus, ObamaCare is not going away, the question still stands only in the improvement of the system. Would the President of such a one-sided compromise is not known.
