«Closed consular of Russia in San Francisco disrupted all the flags of the Russian Federation». This information was reported by the press service of the Russian Embassy in the United States on his page in Facebook on October 11. On this occasion «the American side was sent strong protest.»
Russian diplomats regarded the situation as «an unfriendly act» and demanded that the US return the flags back in their place and to prevent the incident again.
When it was removed the flags the statement of the Embassy of the Russian Federation is not specified. US officials have not yet given comment on the incident.
Recall that the Consulate General of Russia in San Francisco was closed in September this year at the request of the US government.
