The first lady of new York , Cirlan Mccray will probably qualify for political office in the future.
The wife of mayor de Blasio said in an interview with Cosmopolitanthat she will think about how to qualify for one of the government positions after the expiration of the life of her husband.
«Yes. I would prefer a public office. But not mayor,» she told the magazine.
Mccray said she has not decided which state Agency it could work, but it definitely won’t follow in the footsteps of her husband at city hall.
«I think all women should try to occupy a state post. What is happening now is appalling. With the people we have with the person we see in the President’s office, people who work in Congress, we need more progressive women. At all levels. Since city councils», she said.
Previously, Mccray focused on helping mentally ill people, she has developed a program to Thrive NYC. It is the development of this program, the first lady of new York and intends to do in the next 4 years.
