The new Yorkers, dissatisfied with the radical tax reform Republicans, which mainly play into the hands of large corporations, have staged protests under the restaurant Cipriani’s on 42nd street, where the President held a charity event to raise funds.
The organizers of the protest made by the Democratic party of the state of new York and several unions, including unions of teachers and health workers. Activists loudly voiced his displeasure, waving placards condemning the revision of the tax law and changes to Obamacare. Some chanted «Corporate greed has to disappear!» And «new York hates you, lock him up!».

A lot of police officers were drawn to the place of protests, the garbage trucks used as barricades on 42nd street near the restaurant not to allow the protesters to get inside the restaurant.
