The US President Donald trump said Friday that Washington hoped to get more help from the President of Russia Vladimir Putin in an attempt to convince North Korea to abandon further development of nuclear program. Trump emphasized that for today the help from Russia in this matter is missing.
«The main was to talk about North Korea, because we’d like to get it with [Putin] in the matter of North Korea. Helping China, but Russia does not help, we would like to get help from Russia,» trump said to reporters about the results of a telephone conversation with the head of the Russian Federation on Thursday.
Earlier, during the annual press conference the Russian leader said that the US «provoked» North Korea to actively develop the program. Now, according to Putin, North Korea simply sees no other way out.
