China has rejected charges of the President of Donald trump that they illegally supplying oil to North Korea, criticizing the evidence of the American leader and his behavior.
Thursday, December 28, trump wrote on his Twitter page that China is «caught by the hand» in North Korea, when they handed the oil to DPRK vessels, which violated the strict sanctions of the UN Security Council.
The Minister of defence of China, Ren Guoqiang immediately refuted the version of events, which told the U.S. and South Korea, said, «a Situation which you have mentioned, absolutely does not exist.»
Press Secretary of the foreign Ministry of China Hua Chunying stressed that China is comprehensively and strictly adheres to security Council resolutions and meets its international obligations.
While the Chinese media outlet Global Times noted that «tweet trump is one of the most tough reactions from the US and South Korea».
«He (trump) made a conclusion that China was caught red-handed before the truth was clarified and commented resolute tone. Not to behave as a President of the United States», — noted in the material media.
As the United States, China is a permanent member of the UN Security Council. In September, the country, like most powers, voted for the imposition of sanctions against North Korea, despite long-standing allied relations.
Although China denies the illegal sale of oil, South Korean government officials announced that on November 24 they arrested the ship Lighthouse Winmore under the flag of Hong Kong, which, presumably, put 600 tons of refined oil to North Korea.
