Deputy Director of the FBI’s Andrew McCabe to retire ahead of time

On Monday, resigned as the Deputy Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe suffering repeated criticism of the President and other members of the Republican party.

The official left the Department for a month and a half before the scheduled retirement, which was to be held in mid-March. The FBI is not giving comments on his resignation.

As reported, citing informed sources, CBS McCabe «relieved of his duties», but this will not affect his salary and pension. To its 50th anniversary, he will formally remain in a paid leave and then will receive all due to him and benefits.

To dismiss McCabe became known a few days after the current FBI Director Christopher ray has replaced the assistants assigned to his predecessor, James Comey.

Sources CBS reported that the Deputy Director made the decision under pressure, the White house said that neither Donald trump nor any of his administration is not associated with his actual resignation.

McCabe fell out of favor with Trump because of his wife’s ties with the Democratic party and subsequent investigation against Hillary Clinton, which he oversaw along with Komi. The President suspected him of being biased, when it became known that close to the Clinton organization sponsored the election campaign Jill McCabe during her unsuccessful fight for a place in the Senate of Virginia.

NBC reports about the unpleasant conversation that had demonstrated hostility to trump A McCabe even after the dismissal of Komi. According to the newspaper, the President invited the officer to ask the wife what it’s like to feel like a loser.
