The U.S. Senate: Russia’s intervention in the presidential election did not affect their result

Illegal intervention of Russia in the presidential elections of 2016 in the US really took place, but did not affect the outcome of the vote, said the intelligence Committee of the Senate (Senate Select Committee on Intelligence).

18 States were committed by a coordinated hacker attack on a database of voters, says the report of the Committee. Cybermasters was successful in 6 States, but in no way changed the course of the electoral process.

As found by the Committee, the actions of hackers associated with the Kremlin, became part of the expanded Russia in 2014-2016 large-scale campaign, whose main goal was to undermine the faith of Americans in the fundamental principles of democracy.

Recently, the Committee on intelligence of the house of representatives (US House of Representatives Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence) said that the campaign headquarters trump was not involved in collusion with Russia during the presidential campaign of 2016.

Another investigation — special Prosecutor Robert Mueller is still continuing and soon may be questioned by the President of the trump. At least the New York Times has published a list of 44 questions which Mueller allegedly sent lawyers to the President.
