The Russian Embassy in the United States accused the American edition of inciting hatred

The Russian Embassy in the United States believes that the material Tom Rogan in the journal of the Washington Examiner, in which he talks about undermining the Crimean bridge, incited hatred and enmity between Ukraine and Russia.

«Now Ukraine must destroy the part of the [Crimean] bridge, — the journalist wrote in his column of may 15, the day of the official opening ceremony. — This bridge is an insult to Ukraine as a nation.»

The Russian Embassy in the US responded to the article, noting that it «reflects the true intentions of» some people from the US government to de-escalate Russian-Ukrainian relations. The Ministry noted that the Russian legislation provides criminal penalties for those who call for terrorist attacks and justify terrorist activities.

As the press-Secretary of Vladimir Putin Dmitry Peskov said that the article «could be viewed as madness» and «an ugly manifestation of poor journalism.» He noted that American law enforcement should pay attention to the material in the Washington Examiner.

By the way, the United States at the official level, also condemned Russia’s actions. State Department spokesman Heather Nauert stressed that the Crimea is Ukraine, so the construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait is a reminder that Russia is ready to continue to violate international law.

Peskov commented on the number of issues fell to the side of the head of the country after the opening of the bridge regarding its rights to control the truck. The press Secretary said that Putin received a driver’s license with the category about 20 years ago.
