This year the Service of citizenship and immigration USA (U. S. Citizenship and Immigration Services — USCIS) will celebrate the 242nd anniversary of the Independence Day, after spending 175 naturalization ceremonies for more than 14 thousand new citizens of the United States.
As described in the USCIS, the ceremony will run from 28 June to 10 July.
«The naturalization ceremony is at the same time the end of the long road to obtaining citizenship, and a new beginning for these people as full-fledged Americans. We are pleased that we will be able to take part in this celebration of a personal triumph of the new U.S. citizens,» said USCIS Director Francis Cissna.
