Trump looked forward to the next meeting with Putin

On Thursday Donald trump wrote in his Twitter account that looking forward to a second meeting with Russian President Putin.

The Summit with Russia was a great success, except with the real enemy of the people, the Fake News Media. I look forward to our second meeting so that we can start implementing some of the many things discussed, including stopping terrorism, security for Israel, nuclear……..

As reported later, the press Secretary of the White house, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, trump was asked his Advisor John Bolton to invite Putin for the second summit in Washington in the fall. According to Huckabee Sanders, who wrote about it in his Twitter, talks about the second meeting are already underway.

After the summit, the Russian side has made a number of statements on the achievement of an important “oral agreements” during the meeting the leaders of the US and Russia. The negotiations were held behind closed doors, in the presence of the only interpreters of heads of state. Official documents were not signed, therefore agreed trump Putin, remains unclear until the end. Democrats have offered to call for Senate hearings interpreter of the President and accompanying him officials, to clarify the agreements between the two leaders. While this proposal did not receive bipartisan support.

In turn, McConnell urged to start regular hearing in the Senate to impose additional sanctions against Russia. Thursday also will be voting on a resolution which will prohibit the call to testify to the Russian authorities current or former member of American diplomats, soldiers, politicians or law enforcement officers. Such a measure is necessary, according to the bill lobbying politicians, after Putin raised the issue of an interview with the former U.S. Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul.

During the press conference, trump called the prospect of interrogation by the Kremlin, McFaul, Browder and other «incredible offer». But on Thursday, Huckabee Sanders said at a press conference that trump did not give consent for testimony of the Americans for the Russian investigators. Moreover, the White house hopes that US demand the transfer of 12 Russians who Mueller pressed charges, will be granted by the government.

UPD.: The Senate unanimously (98-0) approved a resolution condemning the call to testify to the Russian authorities of American diplomats, soldiers, politicians and law enforcement officials
