The New York Observer, which is owned by the family of Jared Kushner, son-in-law of Donald trump, has stopped cooperation with a scandalous author Mikhail Klikushin. The newspaper said that more don’t see a reason to work with the Russians. The man was known for his Pro-Kremlin articlesin which he regularly praised the leadership of Russia and criticized his opponents. For example, in one of the latest materials, the author claimed that the British shot the video staging chemical attacks in Syria.

«Writer Michael Klikushin collaborated with the former leadership of the NY Observer, however, the new boss wants to see change, and so we have no plans to work with him in the future» — reads the statement of the edition.

Klikushin wrote for the New York Observer about 100 articles. Almost all of them concerned Russian subjects and criticized opponents of the regime of Vladimir Putin. Many people have noted that the rhetoric used by the author, distracting from the overall style of this newspaper and looked disrespectful. Some readers have said about the inappropriateness of such materials, because they are openly praising the actions of the Kremlin, often using disparaging language.

When journalists resource BuzzFeed News started to wonder about the personality of Michael Klikushin and its materials, the newspaper said that he writes articles for the section «opinion«. The author himself refused to get in touch with the media. Even when reporters found his home in new Jersey, the man did not give any comments about their articles.

Klikushina supported former newspaper editor Ken Carson. He said that this author represents an «alternative view» and deals with resonant materials. Later, however, Carson admitted that 50% of the time he had to put the article Klikushina serious editing, softening his Pro-Kremlin rhetoric. The new management of the newspaper did not wish to renew cooperation with the odious author.
