Medvedev: it will be a «terrible conflict,» if Georgia joins NATO

The words of the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation sounded a few weeks after President Vladimir Putin warned NATO that develop a closer relationship with Ukraine and Georgia is irresponsible. «It can provoke terrible conflict. It is not clear why this is necessary», — said Medvedev in an interview with the Kommersant FM radio station, continuing the Putin’s rhetoric on this issue.
