The Governor of Arizona, Doug Dusi appointed a new Senator from the state of 76-year-old Republican John Kyle, who was already in this position from 1995 to 2013.
Today, September 4, at a press conference Dusi said that the place of John McCain, who recently died from glioblastoma, is his party colleague John Kyle. In 2013 the politician resigned from this position and does not intend to participate in early elections to the Senate, which will take place in 2020.
«We are all saddened by the circumstances that require the appointment, and am aware that there is only one John McCain,» — said Kyle, adding that he wants to take care of unfinished business in the Senate, including the nomination of judicial candidates.
When a politician takes office, it will restore the majority of Republicans in the Senate-51 to 49.
«Arizona needs someone who can land on the first day, John Kyle,» explained Dusi the selection of a candidate.
And the widow in Twitter Cindy McCain called Kyle his «dear friend and John.»

Republican, Jeff Flake the Senator from Arizona noted that for this position «there is no one more qualified» than Kyle.
