For the first time in U.S. history a Governor elected openly gay (photo)

The mid-term electionsheld on Tuesday, November 6, has already brought a historic day for America results.

So, Congress was first elected indigenous American women: Sharice Davids and deb Haaland. In the USA congressmen and-Muslims — Rashid Tlaib and Ilhan Omar. And in the state of Colorado for Governor for the first time in American history was elected an open homosexual.

The results of the election in Colorado today, November 7, showed that the Democrat Jared Polis, an entrepreneur from the city of boulder, with a significant margin defeated his Republican opponent Walker Stapleton’s.

Jared Polis spoke openly about his sexual orientation since January 2009, when he was first elected to Congress. The man is raising 2 children with his longtime partner.

«Colorado is a state that values diversity, and stated Policy before the midterm elections. Here we are ready to elect people who will work for the benefit of the state, regardless of their origin, colour or orientation.»

Recall, the Democrats have picked up 17 Republican seats in the Congress, having received a significant advantage.
