Christine Blasi Ford stopped by a fundraiser on GoFundMe and made a statement

«I can’t find the words to thank everyone who has supported me when I decided to inform the Senate that had been sexually abused by Brett Cavanaugh. Funds sent to you via GoFundMe, was a godsend. Your donations allowed us to take the necessary measures to protect themselves from threats and to ensure protection — including physical — my family and our home,» wrote the appeal on the GoFundMe page Ford.

Due to the fact that the donation was much more than expected and needed, Christine decided to spend the rest of the money for charitable assistance to victims of sexual violence and abuse: «it is With great gratitude that I close this account to further deposits. [Remaining] funds <…> will be transferred to organizations that support victims of [sexual] violence. Currently I’m studying organizations in which they can be used best.»

Christine Blasi Ford reported that received threats — including murder, after being accused Brett Cavanaugh attack when they were teenagers. To pay for required spending on security, she decided to collect donations from caring by posting a campaign on GoFundMe.
