The United States have found serious evidence of Russian intervention in support of trump

During a large-scale campaign of disinformation Russia to use all possible technological resources to help Trump to become President of the United States. This is the conclusion reached by the authors of the study, conducted Computational Propaganda Project at the University of Oxford in conjunction with network analysis Graphika.

As the analysis has shown, the Americans became the target audience of the Agency’s Internet research, more commonly known as a «Troll factory». Peaks of activity coincided with important political events such as presidential race or party conventions, the report said.

The Washington Post received a copy of the results of the largest on this topic the research that will be presented in the Senate this week.

«What is clear is the fact that all messages clearly worked in the interests of the Republican party — and, in particular, Donald trump — quotes WP report received. — Trump is mentioned the most in the campaigns aimed at conservatives and right-wing voters, where messages have encouraged these groups to support his campaign.»

Computational Propaganda Project and Graphika carefully studied the role of YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Google as well as Google+, Tumblr and Pinterest, which has previously received relatively little attention. The study authors found that the Russian «trolls» used accounts at Yahoo, Hotmail and Gmail.

In 2017, the owners of Facebook, Google and Twitter first reported the detection of the intervention of Russia on their resources. Critics have accused the company that it took them too much time to detect the misinformation, and since then, the Russian strategy is likely to have changed.

In April, 2918 informed the Senate intelligence Committee said that Russia’s intervention in the 2016 elections actually took place, but did not affect the outcome of the vote.

This week a bipartisan group led by Republican Senator Richard Burr, must submit a new report along with other research.
