In a Sunday interview in the program 60 Minutes on CBS News the youngest Congresswoman USA Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said that trump is a racist.
«Do you believe that a President Donald trump is a racist?» — asked 29-year-old Democrat from new York Anderson Cooper.
Ocasio-Cortez replied without hesitation: «Yes. Yes. No doubt.»

A journalist asked why she thinks so.
«If you closely follow the rhetoric, which appeals to the President, it is evident: he uses words and expressions that are historical «markers» of white supremacy. Remember how he reacted to the incident in Charlottesville, when neo-Nazis killed a woman. Remember how he reacts to immigrants who are seeking asylum at our borders,» — said Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, recently sworn in the 116th Congress.
«The President, of course, did not invent racism, but he definitely gave it the right to vote, spread it throughout the country and has created for him a kind of platform,» added the Congresswoman.
Statement Ocasio-Cortez sparked a lively reaction in social networks. Some Twitter users noted that Alexandria voiced the truism that it’s the same thing as saying: «the Sky is blue».
Others on the contrary said that Ocasio-Cortez has not led any convincing evidence that the President is a racist.
Responded to the words Congresswoman and the White house. In its press-service stressed that «President trump has repeatedly condemned racism and bigotry in all their forms.»
