Nick Sandman made his version of events at the Lincoln memorial

Nick Sandmann (Nick Sandmann) Kovingtonskoy of Catholic schools, whose smile in the photo with the Indian preacher had spread yesterday, the United States, now accused of racism, told their point of view on what had happened. The Enquirer publishes his letter and the full video of the incident — what happened before and after what was in all the media.

A group of students from Covington arrived at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington to participate in the «March for life». At the end of the event, the guys were waiting for the bus to go home. According to Sandmann, they were approached by four African Americans began to shout to the address of kovingtona curses. «They called us «racists», «bigots», «white crackers», «PI***s» and «children of incest». They also mocked African-American student from my school, telling him that we «keep it to authorities», — writes Sandman.

The video shows that adult African Americans are standing and shouting next to a group of teenagers kovingtonskoy a long time, some trying to hurt himself. Unfortunately, it is not visible efforts of the local administration or security, trying to restore order.

Then students begin shouting their slogans and singing. «Student in our group asked one of our assistant teachers permission to start a choir to sing our school song, to drown out the swearing. This is our sports chants, are there in any school — says Sandmann. Personally, I have not heard that anyone of the students shouted something from these chants. I have not heard that someone we called «build that wall» or something hateful or racist. Allegations to the contrary are simply false. We were singing loud, because we wanted to drown out the fact that the protesters shouted to us».

#CovingtonCatholicSchool — do you teach history? Social studies? Do your students have any idea how idiotic it sounds for them to chant to an #indigenous person «build that wall?» pic.twitter.com/T0VEtcvyI6

«Then a native American, whom everyone saw in the video started to play on his drum, he came up to me and looked me in the face. He beat his drum and looked me in the face, but still Sandmann. — I was confused and concerned that he came over to me. I decided that staying still and calm, I can mitigate the situation. I understand that everyone has a camera, and perhaps a group of adults tried to provoke a group of teenagers on a large-scale conflict. I haven’t talked to him and made no aggressive gestures or movements. I silently prayed that the situation got out of control.»

Later today, I’m going to ask the executives at Twitter, Inc. to make a good faith effort to better protect the students of #CovingtonCatholic.

I will do so publicly and demonstrate the need—with evidence.

The results will be public.

Sandman tried to smile, but for some reason his smile has caused all this hatred. «I didn’t block the protesting native American and did not disturb him pass. He did not try to pass me. It was clear to me that he picked me for a confrontation, I don’t know why.»

«I have no evil in this man. I respect his right to protest and freedom of speech, and I support his singing on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on any day of the week. I think he needs to rethink his tactics for the invasion of other’s personal space, but it’s his choice.»

Family Sandman notes that this is the only statement nick. Any further comments assigned to any member of their family that are not contained in this document are to be fabricated. The family will not be responding to individual media.

«I got insults and threats via social media including death threats. One person threatened to hurt me at school, and one says he lives in my neighborhood. My parents also received threats,» said Nick at the end of the letter.

The mother of one of the Schoolgirls who participated in the March wrote on FB that her 15-year-old daughter also wore a baseball cap, «trump 2020» and was in this group. Coming up close a man with a drum of her very scared. «But a frightened reaction to my daughter was not what he wanted and he grabbed his drum and drum sticks and moved on to the bullying of teenage boys from Covington Catholic». Karen McNally is confident that he deliberately provoked the boys to the conflict.

March for life (March for life) is an event held every year in Washington. This is a political rally against abortion (19 January, the anniversary of the decriminalization of abortion in the United States). This is a very conservative event, which often honor the official request of the presidents of the United States. Traditionally this event is supported by Christian organizations, including Catholic. Until this year, the event has never been associated with scandals.

Reportedly, the petition for the dismissal of the Director of the school where educate these supposedly «young rassistov» has already raised almost 15 thousand signatures.
