«I am very proud today to announce that we have reached an agreement to end the closure and reopen the Federal government,» said trump during an official address to the citizens of the United States.

According to the President, he will sign a bill ending the shutdown, which could last up to three weeks. If prior to 15 February, the Democrats and Republicans of Congress will not be able to find a compromise, it will be declared a state of emergency. In addition, some government departments will again be closed, and 800 thousand kugauda will be forced again to go on vacation or not get paid.

Trump said he believes that Democrats and Republicans will be able to solve the issue of the protection of the border. The President stressed that this is not possible without a physical barrier.

The temporary solution lawmakers have pushed what has become known about the major delays at U.S. airports, including new York LaGuardia, due to the lack of air traffic controllers who have suffered because of the shutdown. At the moment, this closure was the longest in US history and lasted 35 days.
