The Taliban promise not to let ISIS in Afghanistan

The talks in Qatar between U.S. and Taliban that lasted a week, on Saturday ended with the agreement, — writes REUTERS, citing sources in the leadership of the Taliban. Supposedly, this movement has committed itself, in the case of the withdrawal of us troops, not to provide territory for bases for ISIS and al-Qaeda.

The US and the Taliban, has not yet published official statements, officials at the state Department this information does not comment. According to REUTERS from Washington negotiations were conducted by US special envoy on a special peace Zalmay Khalilzad, who today flew from Qatar to Kabul, possibly to inform the head of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani on the terms of the agreement.

The deal is in the willingness of the U.S. to withdraw its troops from Afghanistan within 18 months from the date of signing of the final agreement in exchange for the promise of the Taliban does not admit to itself the ISIL expelled from other countries. Also the Taliban are given some guarantee of non-aggression of militants from their territory to Pakistan. According to the publication this is what the parties have agreed in Qatar, however, has yet to agree on the details, but it is quite difficult, as for example to arrange a cease-fire and exchange of prisoners. As difficult issue of the negotiations remains a partial lifting of sanctions against some Taliban leaders.
