On Saturday, British newspaper the Telegraph published an apology to the first lady of the United States with Melania trump in an article entitled «the Mystery of Melania», released on 19 January: «We unreservedly apologize to the First lady and her family for any difficulties caused by the publication of this material. As a token of our regret we have agreed to pay Mrs. trump substantial compensation, and to pay court costs».
The statement also says that the editors acknowledge some of the inaccurate facts in the «Secret Melania»:
«The father of Mrs. trump was not awed by his presence and not kept his family in fear… We recognize that Mrs. trump was a successful professional model in itself, before I met my husband and got a job in the modeling business without his help… the article also incorrectly stated that the mother, father and sister of Mrs. trump moved to new York in 2005 to live in buildings owned by Mr. Trump… the Assertion that Mrs. trump cried on election night, also false».
The publication is also removed from the site publication.
Recently Melania trump regularly accuses the media that publish information about it of a private nature, of lying. Perhaps an apology from the Telegraph — not the last. Melania wrote on FB that her lawyers are engaged in some other editions.
