Representatives of Border and customs services of the USA (United States Customs and Border Protection – CBP) said the deterioration of the situation on the border with Mexico near the town of El Paso.

According to available data, illegal immigrants in large numbers arrive to the town of Ciudad Juarez. In response, security CBP initiated the strengthening of the U.S. border.

Near El Paso urgently erect additional barriers, including concrete blocks and barbed wire. The CBP guide described them as «proactive». They have to secure the U.S. border and to prevent the infiltration of illegal immigrants in the United States.

«To wait until a large group of people will gather on the border and try to cross it illegally, it is inadmissible for us. It is extremely important that we were ready before they arrive to the border crossing,» said Hector Mancha, head of field operations CBP.
