Trump: the death of an American student of Otto Warmbier was not in the interests of Kim Jong-UN

Kim Jong-UN assured Donald trump that he knew nothing about the arrest of an American student of Otto Warmbier not involved in his death due to 17 months of imprisonment in North Korea.

«He felt bad because of this. He was very ill. Otto really bad things occurred… but he told me that he did not know about it, and I took him at his word,» said trump at a press conference in Hanoi after the 2nd summit with the North Korean leader.

Despite the fact that Kim Jong UN is a huge power in the country, the President of the United States is convinced that North Korean leader did not know about the imprisonment of Warmbir and the torture to which he was subjected.

«I really don’t think it actually was in his best interest. I know very well the family Warmbir. I believe that they are an incredible family. What happened was horrible. I truly believe that happened to him something very bad, and I do not think that the top leadership knew about it,» said trump.

21-year-old student at the University of Virginia Otto Warmbier was arrested in January 2016 in Pyongyang, where the guy was in training, because of the promotional banner, which he seized from the property, and was sentenced to 15 years hard labor. The government of North Korea liberated Otto in June 2017. According to Fred Warmbier, his son came home blind and deaf, and after 6 days he died due to «severe neurological injury». (The exact cause of death is still not installed.)

The representatives of the DPRK claimed that Otto fell into a coma because of botulism, but the American doctors found no evidence of this. The boy’s parents, Fred and Cindy Warmbier, from autopsy refused.
