Wednesday, April 3, the democratic head of the powerful Committee on ways and means of the house of representatives formally asked the IRS (IRS) tax return of President trump.
In a letter to the IRS Committee Chairman Richard Neal (Massachusetts) asked for the Declaration of the trump and entities associated with him, from 2013 to 2018.

Trump later in the day told reporters that he is not going to provide the documents as «under audit».

Republicans in Congress opposed the initiative of the Nile, noting that such a move sets a dangerous precedent, transforming the confidential tax documents of a citizen of the United States into a political weapon.
«This particular request is an abuse of authority, committees and violates the goals and guarantees of the tax code,» said Kevin Brady, chief of the Republican Committee of ways and means.
The Committee’neill had originally planned to request my personal tax returns trump. However, some Democrats and independent analysts insisted that the documentation included the income from the business, in order to better assess the activity of the President in the private sector.
The request includes a Declaration of eight legal entities: Donald J Trump Revocable Trust, DJT Holdings LLC, DJT Holdings Managing Member LLC, DTTM Operations LLC, Operations DTTM Managing Member Corp Member Corp Acquisition LFB, LFB Acquisition LLC and Trump National Golf Club.
