O’rourke compared the rhetoric with the Nazi trump

Beto O’rourke, a former Congressman from Texas, presidential candidate of the Democrats, compared the rhetoric trump the one used by Hitler’s Nazis in Germany. Speaking at the meeting in Sioux city, Iowa, remembering the conversation with children in College, Morningside, O’rourke said about what they saw there children, «I thought it was doing to their minds and their ideas about themselves and what they can contribute to this country, when the President of the United States calls Mexicans rapists and criminals, and then continues to call asylum seekers by animals and infection….»

«To call people infected — this is what we can expect to hear about Nazi Germany a description of the immigrants who have experience committing violent crimes less often than native Americans as rapists and criminals. The desire to ban all Muslims — all people of one religion, what other country on the planet does such things?» added then O’rourke in Bloomberg.

As noted by News Week, former Texas Congressman in these short sentences referred to the statement trump 2016, in which it was claimed that the Mexicans were rapists and drug dealers, his call for «complete closure» of Muslims entering the United States in the same year, and his appeal to «very good people»: on both sides of the white nationalist March and contramestre in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2017. He also cited more recent statements of the President in 2018, when he called undocumented immigrants «animals».

A critical comparison of trump from the O’rourke sounded, perhaps in response to the question about how he will beat trump if he becomes the Democratic candidate in 2020. Democrat from El Paso said that he will try to «gather the country together around the work ahead». He promised to reject «pettiness, meanness and personal attacks», claiming that Democrats can lose if they try to compete with trump because trump is too «gifted» in this style of campaigning.
