The humanitarian crisis in Puerto Rico Ocasio-Cortez, has accused trump of incompetence and corruption

A member of the house of representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez appealed to the President of Donald Trump and his Advisor, Kellyann Conway due to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Puerto Rico.

The island is still recovering from the hurricane «Maria» — it’s been 18 months after the strongest tropical storm devastated the island.

Sunday, April 28, the television program State of the Union on CNN Conway criticized Ocasio-Cortez, because she has not commented on the attacks on Sri Lanka, which killed more than 200 people.

In response to this, Congresswoman indicated that she was visiting her grandmother in Puerto Rico during Easter, and she had no access to the Internet.

«On Easter I was away from technology and visiting my grandmother in Puerto Rico, which continues to suffer from an incompetent White house response to natural disasters — wrote Ocasio-Cortez on Twitter. — You want to say that I am less a Christian?»

She continued to criticize the administration trump for failing to adequately cope with the crisis caused by hurricane «Maria» in 2017.

«I decided to use the word «incompetent» when talking about trump’s reaction to the hurricane «Maria» and the 3000 Americans who died while he was in power,» wrote Ocasio-Cortez, listing the epithets that it can describe the policy of the President: «negligent», «incompetent», «inhumane».

I chose to use the word ‘incompetent’ when it comes to Trump’s response to Hurricane María & the 3,000 Americans who died on his watch, but that’s only because I had 280 characters.

There are plenty of other words too:
— Negligent
— Inept
— Inhumane
— Predatory

Take your pick.

«»Corrupt» — is also a good option — added Democrat in your next tweet. — I’m curious how you Dodge, ignoring and neglecting the largest mass loss of life on American soil in the last decade.»

As reported by PBS News Hour, besides the fact that thousands of people died in the hurricane, a recent report showed that thousands of Puerto Rican children are showing signs of post-traumatic stress disorder.

The property trump has repeatedly accused of not respecting the fate of Puerto Rico. Especially after the President told the senators at a private meeting that, in his opinion, Freely associated state gets too much aid from the US.
