Omar accused the conservatives in feeding the «monsters» who attacked mosques and synagogues

A member of the house of representatives Ilhan Omar criticized the conservatives, accusing them that they helped to «feed» the «monsters» who have committed recent attacks on mosques and synagogues.

During yesterday’s interview on «Democracy Now,» the Democrat from Minnesota, suggested that the conservatives are now trying to hide, as their statements and actions have emboldened supporters of white supremacy. According to Omar, people should acknowledge that white nationalist ideology harms both Jews and Muslims.

«A lot of people that pursue the Jewish community due to anti-Semitism, also plagued the Muslim community because of Islamophobia, the Congressman said. — We need to work together to unite our voices and say «No» to hatred. We know that both our communities here in the United States, are targeted for white supporters of superiority.»

On April 27 at the synagogue of Chabad POWAY (Chabad of Poway) in San Diego shooting occurred in which a woman died and three others were injured. The accused, 19-year-old John T. Ernest, posted anti-Semitic and Islamophobic content on the Internet before the attack and also claimed responsibility for the arson of local mosque.

Not only Omar believes that part of the blame for the attack lies with the conservatives. Senator dick Durbin, Democrat of Illinois, pointed the finger squarely at President Donald trump in an interview with CNN.

«Why do these people feel that they now have permission to attack synagogues, Sikh temples, churches in the United States? asked Durbin. — It was really exaggerated by the rhetoric that we hear from the White house».

The administration denies any involvement in the attacks. Press Secretary of the trump Sarah Sanders pointed out that the President «condemned not only this incident, but all acts of evil, hatred, racism and bigotry».

But trump really has repeatedly defended the white supporters of the supremacy and neo-Nazis, who in 2017 held an event called «Unite the Right» in Charlottesville, (VA), during which 1 person was lost.
