A supporter of trump wrote on the wall of the office Ocasio-Cortez, which supports its «green New deal»

The Congresswoman is a Democrat from the Bronx Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was seriously surprised on Friday when a supporter of trump left on the wall outside her office a note which stated that he supported her and the President.

Ocasio-Cortez, which allows supporters to stick post notes on a wall near her office in Congress, posted a photo scrapbook of the unknown supporter on Twitter after she briefly talked to that person.

About an hour ago, I was walking out of my office for the day.

There was a man in what I believe was his teenage son hanging a small sign they made outside my office (we let people leave well wishes on our wall).

Astonishingly, his sign read: “Trump supporters for Ocasio-Cortez.” pic.twitter.com/IjVKbvetEI

«It’s amazing, but its inscription reads: «the cards support Ocasio-Cortez»», — she wrote. «I was very surprised. We shook hands, he introduced himself and told me he wanted to lend their support. With all due respect, sir, how are you… can support us both?» she continued.

I somehow got it out: “With all respect sir, how do you… manage to support both of us at the same time?”

This is what he said:
“I’ve been saying for years that climate change is our most important crisis. You’re one of the only ones who’s been willing to be decisive on it.”

«»For many years I have said that climate change is our most important crisis. You are one of those who wish to make a decision. I like you. I can tell that you are sincere and fight for us. You are a true and get it,» said the man,» she wrote, noting: «I warmly thanked him and his family».

«All it means is that no politician, of whatever party, should not lecture you about what is «possible» or «impossible,»» she said on Twitter. «Never allow politicians to imply that working people are «uneducated» — they are advocates for solutions to the climate crisis,» she wrote in another tweet.

Climate change is here + we’ve got a deadline: a 12 years left to cut emissions in half.

A #GreenNewDeal is our plan for a world and a future worth fighting for.

How did we get here?
What is at stake?
And where are we going?

Last Friday was generally for women the Bronx memorable: in addition to the suddenly-found support from supporters trump yesterday she became the youngest woman who led the session of Congress as President. 29-year-old Ocasio-Cortez shared on Twitter, saying that the time spent in the chair, reminded her that her being in Congress is «a sacred privilege».
