The mayor of the town of carbon hill (al) refuses to resign after his comments about the «murder» of members of the LGBTQ community has caused outrage among the public.

«We live in a society where homosexuals teach us morals, transvestites lectures on biology, murderers of children talk about human rights, and the socialists teach us economy,» wrote mayor mark chambers in Facebook.
The officer was subjected to sharp criticism from their constituents for this post, but the situation deteriorated even more when chambers replied to a comment my friend:
«The only way to change that is to kill the problem. I know that it is bad to talk about this, but not killing them, it is impossible to fix this.»
After the scandal chambers told local newspaper the Daily Mountain Eagle that «he did not intend to resign». At that time the post had disappeared from the pages of the mayor.
During a meeting of the city Council in the evening local policy formally asked for the resignation of the mayor, according to WSFA.
In a telephone conversation with WBRC chambers initially denied that he wrote the message. He later admitted his responsibility, but claimed that he «never said anything about killing gays».
On Tuesday, June 4, chambers apologized in Facebook: «Although I believe my comment was taken out of context and was not aimed at the LGBTQ community, I know that it would be wrong to say that someone should kill».
The chambers is headed by the city of carbon hill with a population of less than 2,000 people in 2014.
