The popularity of socialism in the United States is growing, especially among young people.
A recent poll conducted by Gallupshowed that 58% of Americans aged 18 to 34 believe that socialism is good for the country, and democratic politics-the socialists, for example, Bernie Sanders or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, enjoys broad support of voters from among the Millennials and generation Z.
22-year-old Morgan Zegers wants to change this trend. She recently founded a non-profit organization «Young Americans against socialism» (Young Americans Against Socialism).

The daughter of a Colonel of the US army Arthur Zegers IV, Iraq veteran, Morgan became interested in politics in high school in the state of new York. In 2018, she unsuccessfully ran for the state Assembly of new York, before committing yourself to work on «Young Americans Against Socialism».

Ernesto «Che» Guevara was an Argentine doctor and revolutionary who became a key figure in the revolution of Fidel Castro in Cuba in the late 1950-ies. Seghers also disagree with supporters of socialism, which tell about the economic success of the Nordic countries. The girl said that there might be some «elements of socialism» when it comes to education and healthcare, but programs are funded because of the success of capitalism in these countries.
The girl added that she has no political ambitions and that she just wants her organization to spread its message.
