Donald trump said that the United States build a wall in Colorado — a state that does not border with Mexico

President Donald trump said on Wednesday, October 23, that he was building a boundary wall in Colorado, although the state is located almost in the center of the United States, hundreds of miles from Mexico.

«We are building a wall on the border of new Mexico, and we build the wall in Colorado, said trump, speaking at the 9th annual Shale Insight conference in Pittsburgh. — We build a beautiful wall — a big one, which really works.»

People in the audience started to applaud when the President talked about the wall in Colorado.

«You can’t move, you won’t be able to get around» he said before the crowd.

Trump promised supporters that he would build a wall on the border since the first days of his presidential campaign, but Colorado is not one of the four States that border with Mexico.

News about the possibility of construction of boundary wall in the center of the continental United States came as a surprise for the Governor of Colorado’s Jared Polis, who responded to the President’s comments on Twitter.

«Well, it’s strange… Colorado does not border with Mexico. Well, Colorado now offers a free kindergarten for the whole day, so that our children could learn the basics of geography,» wrote Polis.

Well this is awkward …Colorado doesn’t border Mexico. Good thing Colorado now offers free full day kindergarten so our kids can learn basic geography pic.twitter.com/bEXLDJYUku

The evening of the same day, trump wrote on his Twitter page that he was joking, flirting with the audience.

(Kiddingly) We’re building a Wall in Colorado”(then stated, “we’re not building a Wall in Kansas but they get the benefit of the Wall we’re building on the Border”) refered to people in the very packed auditorium, from Colorado & Kansas, getting the benefit of the Border Wall!
