America forces us to fight: Ukrainian billionaire Igor Kolomoisky expressed support for Russia

Over the past five years, more than 13 thousand people died in the war between Ukraine and Russia, which began after the annexation of Crimea by Russia and the emergence of the separatists in the Donbas.

A key figure in this case was Ukrainian billionaire Igor Kolomoisky, who helped the Ukrainian army to stop Russian advancement in 2014. Now the businessman called the most influential figure in Ukraine, as it is believed that it is associated with the newly elected President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.

But as The New York Times reported, Kolomoisky has dramatically changed its vector, and said that Ukraine should abandon the West and turn towards Russia.

«They are stronger anyway. We have to improve our relationship — compare billionaire Russia and Ukraine. — People want peace, a good life, they don’t want to fight. And you [America] make us fight and not even give us money for it.»

Kolomoisky believes that the US is biased against him and that he is the target of the FBI, which began an investigation into his business. As previously reported by The Daily Beast three sources, the investigation is widespread and is performed for a long time.

While Zelensky continues to maintain closer ties with the West, he is ready to communicate with Russia more than its predecessor Petro Poroshenko. The President of Ukraine has recently offered to meet with Vladimir Putin without Western leaders. This was stated by the former President of Kazakhstan.

«We take 100 billion dollars from the Russians. I think they would give them to us, — said Kolomoisky. — What is the fastest way to solve the problem and restore the relationship? Only money».

On the impeachment hearings, us officials have described the influence of Kolomoisky as one of the biggest problems facing the new administration Zelensky. One of the reasons why it is considered that the oligarch has influence on the Ukrainian leader, was the appointment of a personal lawyer Kolomoisky Andrei Bogdan head of the office of the President.

The acting Ambassador in Kiev William Taylor has declared that he warned Zelensky, noting: «He, Mr. Kolomoisky, is increasing its influence in your government, which can lead to your failure.»

According to Kolomoisky, he is feverishly working on how to end the war, but he refused to disclose details, because the Americans «and spoil everything good.»
