On Thursday, the Pentagon launched air strikes on the Iranian-backed Shiite militia groups, allegedly responsible for the rocket fire, which killed and wounded American and British soldiersstationed at the base North of Baghdad.
Numerous American attacks were made on the weapon object «Kataib Hezbollah» in Iraq. The operation was carried out jointly with the British, according to USA TODAY.
Two Americans and one British citizen were killed in a rocket attack Wednesday on an Iraqi base hosting US troops.
The U.S. Department of defense called two Americans on Friday: army specialist Juan Miguel Mendez Covarrubias, 27 years old from Hanford, California, and Sergeant of the air staff Marshal D. Roberts, 28, of Owasso, Oklahoma.

Once Iran has not claimed responsibility for the launch of Iran’s ballistic missiles at two Iraqi military base in January, where he was stationed American soldiers, Washington and Tehran was on the brink of war.
The United States has about 5,000 troops supporting the Iraqi security forces. American troops regularly come under attack in Iraq by Iranian-backed militants such as «Kataib Hezbollah» or other Shiite militia groups.
On Wednesday, the House of representatives approved a resolution that would have forbidden the President to Donald Trump to launch a military attack on Iran without explicit congressional authorization.
This measure followed increasing tensions in relations between the US and Iran after the Pentagon killed senior Iranian commander Soleimani during a drone strike in January, which led to retaliation from Iran to another military base in Iraq where US troops. In this attack dozens of US soldiers were injured.
The attack on Wednesday coincided with the birthday Soleimani. Iran demands revenge for his murder, and the U.S. Navy are still the main target country.
The resolution sent to the White house, where trump is expected to impose on it the veto. The President said that it will undermine safety and will demonstrate the weakness of the United States. Supporters do not have the two-thirds majority needed to override the veto.
«The American people do not want war with Iran. Congress didn’t authorize war with Iran. It should be clear», — said in the debate in the house of representatives Chairman of the foreign Affairs Committee Eliot Engel.
Engel and other Democrats said that trump has brought the United States to the brink of war with Iran, when on 2 January approved the blow to the most powerful military leader of Tehran Soleimani, provoking the retaliation of the Iranian ballistic missiles at an Iraqi air base with us troops.
«This is not containment, said Engel, noting that Iran had increased its stockpiles of uranium enrichment. — We are now closer to war with a country that is seeking nuclear weapons.»
The administration of the tramp and its allies-the Republicans said that the resolution is not necessary and will undermine the ability of trump to react to the aggression of Iran.
«The resolution on the powers of the political war based on a false premise» — said member of Parliament Michael McCall, chief Deputy of the Republican party in the Committee on foreign Affairs.
He said trump has shown «remarkable restraint» in the use of military force and made it clear that he does not want war with Iran.
«Iran and its Trustees are watching what is happening in our country, ‘said McCall. — And what they see is a divided America that does not fully support the ability of our commander in chief to adequately respond to threats against Americans.»
The white house called the resolution «ill-timed and wrong.»
In a statement threatening a veto, the White house argues that the U.S. «is not currently involved in the use of force against Iran, primarily because of sound policies and a decisive and effective actions this administration».
The main author of the resolution, Senator Tim Kane, a Democrat of Virginia, welcomed the vote in the environment as a long-overdue affirmation of the authority of Congress on military matters.
«For many years Congress has abandoned its responsibility for military matters, but now a bipartisan majority in the Senate and House of representatives have made it clear that we should not participate in military action with Iran without a vote in Congress,»said Kane.
