American intelligence agencies have received information that North Korean leader Kim Jong-UN ‘s life is in danger after surgery.
It is reported by CNN.
The Agency cites an unnamed us official, who learned about it directly.
Another U.S. official said there were fears about the health of Kim Jong-UN, but it is difficult to assess the seriousness of the situation.
Representatives of the government of South Korea declared that can’t confirm this information. Earlier on Monday, South Korean media reported that 36-year-old leader of North Korea was treated after the procedure on the heart in the beginning of this month.
Kim Jong UN missed celebration of the birthday of his grandfather, «the founder of the nation» Kim Il-sung on 15 April, which caused speculation about his health.
Kim had surgery on April 12 at a hospital in the district of Hanshan, according to Daily NK, a web site, which is mostly run by North Korean defectors, citing unnamed sources in a closed country.
The report States that in recent months the health of Kim Jong-UN has deteriorated due to Smoking, obesity and overwork.
The Ministry of unification of South Korea (South Korea’s Unification Ministry)that deals with inter-Korean Affairs, said that he could not confirm reports.
The national security Council and the office of the Director of national intelligence did not comment to CNN.
