Coronavirus cases rise in counties where Trump rallies took place

According to a CNN study, 14 (82%) of the 17 counties that hosted the Trump Rally saw an increase in COVID-19 cases a month later.

The 17 rallies studied by the channel took place from 17 August to 26 September. At the same time, out of 14 districts in which outbreaks of coronavirus were recorded, in eight the number of new cases began to decline a month before the rally. In the other six, on the contrary, already then there was an increase in the incidence.

CNN's analysis also showed that the number of cases increased faster in 10 counties than in the state as a whole.

These included a September 12 rally in Minden, Nevada.

A month before him, the number of cases in the district was decreasing. Still, four weeks after the rally, new cases jumped 225%, outpacing 74% growth in the rest of the state over the same period.

CNN researched rallies in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Arizona, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Michigan, Nevada, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio and Florida.
