Sergey Kislyak, who two weeks ago completed his mission of Russian Ambassador to USA, said that his conversations with former US presidential Advisor for national security Michael Flynn was “the simplest things”.
Recall that Flynn resigned in February, not having worked a month in his new job. It happened shortly after it became known that between Kislyak and Flynn held a private telephone conversation before the inauguration of Donald trump, 29 Dec 2016.
That was the day the Obama administration decided to send 35 Russian diplomats from new York and Maryland in response to the intervention of Russian hackers in the US presidential election.
It is noteworthy that the content of the conversation with the Russian Ambassador Flynn chose not to inform his superiors in the person of Vice-President Mike Pence.

But, if to trust words Kislyak, who shared details of his conversation with Flynn in the program «Press conference» on TV channel «Russia 24», the subject of sanctions in General, they were not discussed.
“I had instructions not to discuss sanctions. We never discussed sanctions. And rest assured, I have their instructions carried out fairly,” said Sergey Kislyak.
He added that the Russian side does not consider it necessary to discuss the sanctions, which “entered illegally”.
Instead, Flynn and Kislyak talked “about the most simple things” and topics that “are important for the interaction of Russia and the USA”. Among them is terrorism.
Kislyak wished to mention that during the conversation was not disclosed “no secrets, at least from our side.”
Worth pointing out that some of the questions leading TV programs of Russian diplomat chose not to answer. For example, he refused to clarify whether the mentioned conversation took place by phone.
Kislyak also said that unlike the “European colleagues” who, at the time of the American campaign, “together supported the democratic candidate”, Russia did not allow themselves such.
