On Friday, August 26, President Donald trump signed a Memorandum, under which transsexuals are no longer able to join the armed forces of the United States. Also from the Department of homeland security will not be allocated to Finance surgical procedures for transplantation of the genital organs for representatives of transgender people who are serving.
In the Memorandum, published on the website of the White house, said the administration of former President Barack Obama failed to provide enough evidence that the policy against transgender people will not interfere with military effectiveness.
In a statement the press service of the White house said that the Minister of defense of Jim Mattis should determine in coming months what to do with transgender people, who already are serving in the U.S. army. The Mattis has until February 21, 2018, to give the answer how to implement these changes.

This unprecedented policy is reduced to cleaning of qualified military and will only serve to undermine cohesion and the weakening of military readiness,» – said the lawyer. Levy stressed that they will challenge the President’s decision in court.
