The mayor of Los Angeles Eric Garcetti said that the huge loss of life and catastrophic destruction, which brought a series of earthquakes occurred in Mexico, should make local homeowners to think about, reports KTLA.
According to Garcetti, homeowners and local governments in California already have to start work on strengthening buildingsthat are in disrepair and may collapse due to aftershocks.
