The new week brought to new York a new affordable housing lottery, which opened in the area of Concourse Village in the Bronx, nice pleasing number of apartments, which in the case of winning can be rented at a nice price.

A new modern building conveniently located at 294 E. 162nd St., near the stations of subway lines B, D and 4. It boasts an extensive list of amenities available to residents such as a fitness center, computer room, private Laundry and patio.

Proposed rental prices vary depending on apartment size, number of occupants and total household income, however, to apply for participation in the lottery, applicants must earn no less than 60% of the median income for the area (from $31,509 to $66,420).

Compact Studio will be available for $864 per month, one-bedroom apartment for $928 per month, 2 bedroom apartments — $1,121 per month and spacious apartment with 3 bedrooms — $1,287 per month.

The people of new York, comply with all the conditions can apply for participation in the lottery till 17 Jan 2018. Residents of Bronx Community Board 4 will receive preference for 50 percent of cases, 7% of the apartments provided for residents with disabilities.

Currently, the building is still under construction with the support of the city authorities in the framework of the program of affordable housing. Not yet known when residents will be able to start to move to a new apartment.
