New lottery for affordable housing opened at 93 apartments in a new building at 2605 Grand Concourse in Bedford Park in the Bronx. For the construction of a 12-story building meets the developer Douglaston Development. This building was one of the few projects built from scratch in the Bronx over the past few years.

Anyone wishing to take part in the lottery, should earn 60, 100 or 130 percent of the average income in the areato get the opportunity to rent one of the available apartments in price from $822 to $2,190 per month, depending on the number of rooms.

Design in the Art Deco style is a tribute to the architectural style of the buildings that are visible along the Grand Concourse, which allows the complex to blend in with the existing neighborhood. It is expected that the opening of the building will take place in spring 2018. The developer promises that it will meet high environmental standards and all standards of energy efficiency.

Residents will have access to spacious observation deck on the roof, back yard and Parking. In addition, the building boasts a private Laundry and a convenient location (nearby metro station and bus stop).

The people of new York, comply with all the conditions can apply for participation in the lottery until 8 February 2018.
