The current week has been extremely generous with all kinds of housing lottery in new York. Now residents of the Big Apple can also try out and apply for participation in the drawing of budget accommodation in a new building St. Augustine Apartments in the area of Morrisania in the Bronx. The apartment house is located on the site of the demolished Church of St. Augustine at the address 1180 Fulton Avenue, the complex, designed by architecture firm Magnusson Architecture and Planning, consists of 112 apartments, which are evenly distributed over an area of just over 117 000 square feet.

The lottery involved 76 apartments with one, two and three bedrooms. To participate, new Yorkers must earn 50 or 60 percent of average income by area. Lottery winners have the opportunity to rent an apartment at the price from $718 per month for an apartment with 1 bedroom to $1 229 per month for an apartment with three bedrooms.

The floor plan follows the layout of the old Church: the building stretches from North to South and the highest part is located in the southern part. On the ground floor will have entrance hall, a management office building, post office, 10 suites, Laundry and common room. Additional facilities include a landscaped courtyard , storage for bicycles and children’s Playground.

Candidates that meet all the conditions of the lottery can apply for participation until February 15, 2018. Residents of Bronx Community Board 3 will receive preference for 50 percent of cases.
