New lottery for affordable housing for the elderly was launched in Staten island (new york). Available for rent 160 apartments-studios and one-bedroom apartments in a residential complex Seaview Site C of several 5-storey buildings connected by underground passageways at: 155-175 Friendship lane, Todt Hill. The apartments are designed for single elderly and elderly couples.
Participation in the sweepstakes is open to residents of new York aged from 62 years and families in which at least one of the spouses reached a specified age. The maximum annual income for 1 person must be not more than $33,4 thousand., for two persons — not more than $38.2 thousand. Rents for the winners of the lottery will be only 30% of the normal amount.

In the near future at Seaview Site C, a full-fledged residential area with the hospital, shops and green spaces. A stay here will be very convenient for older people because everything is at hand.
