Housing lottery in new York | 30 available apartments in Financial District

Perhaps right now, somewhere among the skyscrapers of the Big Apple, you will find a dream apartment with a beautiful view of the city. Or, more precisely, 30 affordable apartments at 29 Cliff Street, Financial District.

In the new building, built under the Inclusionary Housing Program, available to residents are a fitness center, yoga room, terrace, lounge, games room, Laundry, garage for bicycles, wine cellar and Concierge, ready to help at any time of the day (we fell back on the word «wine»).

By the way, bad news for smokers: cigarettes in the building is prohibited. But there is good news: remember, we talked about the wine?

Play 6 one-bedroom apartments are designed for 1-2 tenants (rent is $613 per month), 6 studios for 1 tenant (with rent of $659), 3 single flats for 1-2 tenants ($895), 9 double apartments for 2-4 occupants ($1,082), 3 Studio ($2,116) by 1 resident, 1 single ($2,270) and 2 two bedroom apartments ($2,733) — 1-2 and 2-4 residents, respectively. The median income varies depending on the size of the apartment and the monthly rent.

Preference will be given to tenants from new York. The apartments set aside for tenants with disabilities (5%) and disorders of vision or hearing (2%), as well as residents of Manhattan Community Board 1 (50%) and employees of public offices (5%).
